Moving Infantry Target
|

The MIT is designed to move
one, two, or three infantry targets to simulate running men. Scaled vehicle
targets can be transported if desired. The Mover is fully compatible with
standard and portable RETS, PRIME and MILES.

Simple low maintenance electric drive system powered by 24 volt sealed gel batteries allowing over 650 operations between charges.

Monorail guidance system that can be made to any desired length.

Utilizes the Stationary Infantry Target (SIT), programmable micro-controller electronics and two-way radio for control and communications.

No cables, wires, or chains required - Carrier is totally self-contained and moves at variable speeds up to 10 kph.

Track can be assembled by two persons in less than 30 minutes on unimproved ground with no special tools required.

Unique track leveling feet are provided to accommodate installation on uneven terrain and can be assembled to follow a 30 degree curve over a 30 meter length.

Operates on up to 7 degree slopes.

End of track Solar battery charger docking station is optional.

Totally portable, light, and very easy to deploy and tear down.

Stops and reverses direction anywhere on the track.
